Haystock 2011

I got asked just at the end of last week if I could put together a poster for Haystock, a local event on July 2nd which raises money for Farmhearts, an organization that helps local farmers. After a lot of work lately which involved the blend of coding AND design, it seemed a welcome change of pace. And it’s a bit silly, but I felt kind of cool getting to design the poster since the event is put together by Michael Lang, who also organized Woodstock.

Here it is:

Since it’s professional, this should really be posted at www.DandyPlow.com, but I haven’t quite gotten the time to set up a blog over there yet, though I’ve finally sort of marked a spot for it. If you like the poster, and want one designed by the same guy (me, that is), it can be done! Just shoot me an email at patrick@dandyplow.com.

Oh, and if you’re in the area, be sure to come out to the Delaware Youth Center in Callicoon, New York on July 2nd at 6:00PM for the potluck picnic fundraiser featuring live music from The Haunted, Kazzrie Jaxen, Elizabeth Rose, Sean Zigmund, and Hezekiah Loveland, as well as food from some of New York City’s top chefs, and more! It’s only $10 at the door, with proceeds going to farmhearts and the Sullivan County Farmers’ Markets.
